Happy New Year!!!

My resolution this year is to read as many Adult novels (in my preferred Paranormal Romance and Urban Fantasy) as Young Adult. I struggled with this last year just because there are so many great YA novels. Of course, this goes hand in hand with a goal I've had for a while: sign some Adult clients (not that my clients aren't big kids already).

What are your reading/writing resolutions for the New Year?

Also, check out this week's Authornomics on the agency blog--the interviewee today is our own Andrea Hurst, talking about writing, advice, and resolutions. And enter to win a developmental edit with her! If you don't know, every week Andrea Hurst and Katie Flanagan interview someone in the industry, from new writers to best sellers, agents to editors. Check in every week because you never know when something great might be given away.

Happy resolutioning!

For reading, my goal is to read one YA book every month. For writing, it's to finish revising my current YA contemp!

I got The Marriage Plot for Christmas. Any other year I would have already started it by now, but I'm also entrenched in YA. It's hard to break apart from.

One of my reading goals is to read at least one classic every other month. I have yet to find one I actually like so I am on a quest. Right now I am reading A Tale of Two Cities.

Happy New Year and Happy Reading :)

Well, for writing, of course my New Years Resolution would be to get published!

As for reading, I say tackling Stephen King's The Dark Tower series. I already own the first three books, but now there is a task.

Best of luck to everyone!

Happy New Year!

My writing goal is to finish current wip. Then revise the last wip.

Reading goal is just to read as much as I can. I tried to switch back to adult last year. It didn't work, so sticking with YA for now. :) Oh, and MG.

For writing, to finish edits on novel. For reading, I wouldn't mind getting my hands on some classics.

Happy New Years!, Vickie! Hope you had a great one.

I have so many goals. I'm trying to think up some ones though.

I do get caught up at reading a lot of YA so that's a good goal to start reading more adult. I try to do both but I think most of the ones I steer toward are YA.

Def finishing edits on current ms and then anxious to start the next one. :)

Happy New Year! Glad you're back!
I have the same goal, read more adult. I started last month. My reward -- the two YA novels I have waiting for me on my Kindle. HA!

In 2012 I WILL finish writing my ms.
